We are excited to introduce the new transformation from the People in Motion show to the Access Expo, presented by Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario. Please read below for important event information.

Join us for the Opening Ceremonies!

To celebrate the official opening, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us on Thursday, June 6 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. In addition to a ceremonial opening we will be honoring this year’s award winners for their contributions to accessibility and inclusion in Ontario.

Keep an eye out for the Brock Street Beer tent featuring a fully -accessible bar. ID required. Please drink responsibly.

Cash, debit and credit will be available at all locations.


Parking will be not be available in the Variety Village parking lot on both days.

June 6th: Parking will be available at Birchmount High School (which is directly beside Variety Village) after 3:00pm. As well, parking is available on Danforth Avenue.

June 7th: Valet parking will be available. Your car can be dropped off and picked up at the valet station in the Variety parking lot. Parking will be available on Danforth Avenue as well as Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (Birchmount Rd. and Danforth Ave.).


There will be two accessible shuttle golf carts during the entirety of the event if people choose to park their own vehicles, but need assistance getting back. Parking will be available at Birchmount High School after 3:00pm.

The Access Expo is excited to have paired with the Personal Support Workers and will be providing free support to anyone who needs it. The Personal Support Workers booths is located at Booth #802.


Toronto Paramedics will be on-site to provide first aid services, located at Booth #804.

Only accessible parking remains open.
Fieldhouse: closed
Information for members
All fitness classes and fieldhouse One to One’s cancelled with the exception of the classes noted below:
Chairfit 11:00 am-12:00 noon – moved to Cafeteria.
Aquatic programs will still run except for Aquafit 11:00 am–2:00 noon
Red Cross and Aquatic One to One’s – still running.
Friday, June 7 – Access Expo Event 8:00am – 8:00pm
Parking lot: closed to all members and public.
Only accessible parking remains open.
Fieldhouse: closed
Information for Event Attendees: Valet parking (Friday, June 7)
Valet parking begins at 8:30am. Please drop you vehicle at Lobby entrance doors.
Information for Camp pick up and drop off:
Please drop campers off at Cafeteria entrance before 9:15am – camp day trip.
