The Door-tof it Door-to-Door Campaign
The Door-to-Door Campaign is in North America, and helps us raise awareness of March of Dimes Canada programs in communities across Canada. Since 1951, the March of Dimes Door-to-Door Campaign has helped raise money to support individuals with physical disabilities. Every January, in honour of our founding Marching Mothers, volunteers walk through their neighbourhoods, knocking on doors to raise money in support of March of Dimes.
Your support allows us to offer opportunities for independence to the over 55,000 Canadians with disabilities that we serve. With your help, we are able to offer a variety of donor-funded programs to Canadians with disabilities, including Conductive Education®, attendant services, employment training, recreational and social opportunities, funding for vital home safety equipment, vehicle modification, and support for polio and stroke survivors, people living with acquired brain injuries, their loved ones, and caregivers.
In addition, we have our Online Campaign, found at www.mymod.ca/doortodoor, that lets people canvass family and friends in support of March of Dimes Canada from the comfort of their own home.
Please consider joining our online family!
If you are interested in canvassing your neighbours or for more information about the Door-to-Door campaign, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-800-263-3463 ext. 7705.

Charity Road Hockey Challenge
Toronto Charity Road Hockey Challenge 2014
For over 16 years the Annual Charity Road Hockey Challenge has been raising money for charity. The Toronto Charity Road Hockey Challenge was first organized in 1999 by members in the GTA community. It was such a success that Lindsay, Ontario formed the Lindsay BIA Charity Road Hockey Challenge in 2011.
This one day event brings together neighbours, families, athletes, hockey fans, local business owners and from all parts of the city to have fun while raising money for worthy causes. March of Dimes Canada is again honoured to be the recipient of funds raised from these events.

Lindsay Charity Road Hockey Challenge and Family Street Festivals
The 4th Annual Lindsay BIA Charity Road Hockey Challenge was on May 25, 2014
Now in its 4th year, the Lindsay BIA Annual Charity Road Hockey Challenge has been raising money by organizing an annual road hockey challenge in Lindsay, Ontario. On Sunday, May 25, 2014, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., part of Kent Street (between Victoria and Cambridge Street) in Lindsay transformed into makeshift road hockey rinks in support of the 4th Annual Lindsay BIA Charity Road Hockey Challenge. The Grand Restaurant was the event’s headquarters and co-owner Charlie MacDonald, has been a huge supporter of this event from the beginning.
“I am so excited to be working with the Lindsay BIA and be a part of this event again! It just keeps getting bigger and better –and every dollar raised stays in the community,” says Regional Fundraising Coordinator, Sandra Clements.
