This is the story of Jessica Wyrd who was orphaned after the tragic death of her parents; she lives with her gassy grandparents who live in a small town in upstate New York.  Being from Georgia she only has a few friends and receives constant teasing from her hard core schoolmates.

Worried about being forgotten on her 13th birthday, Jessica is lured into the forest by a strange spiral light. She encounters three Lightmasters, who convince her that she has unique gifts. Intrigued, she’s transported to another dimension where she is tested for her courage and strength.

Things change drastically when Jessica returns to earth. During school, her reality shifts and people start turning into reptilian monsters. The leader of the Lightmasters tells her she’s needed by the alliance to defeat an invisible alien beast, who feeds off fear.

Read this book and learn how Jessica conquers her own fears and helps rid the world of a wicked enemy who hates humans?

Light Master Number 13 was a fun and wonderful fictional adventure story!

The author M.G. is an award-winning artist and produced playwright best known for Into the Light, Practice Makes Perfect & SPOOKY!  LightMasters: Number 13 was M.G.’s debut novel.

Ms Well did a wonderful job of describing characters, places and relationships. It is so well written in a skillful way of handling good morals and at the same time dealing with the emotions and conflicts any young adult may come across.

This book is also so gripping; that once one begins reading, it is a hard book to put down without finishing it. I would give this book five stars and highly recommend if to young adults and grown-ups alike.
